AIKIDO JINSEI DOJO "A Traditional Aikido School" |
|
|
DOJO At Aikido Jinsei Dojo all students, regardless of experience and rank, practice together in a cooperative fashion. However, during the initial three months of training new students primarily focus on learning etiquette and building the basics of body mechanics. This is done so that practice can be undertaken in a rigorous but safe manner thereby clearing the path to continued growth in Aikido. “Aikido Jinsei” loosely translates to “Aikido is human life / human life is Aikido.” The fundamental purpose behind the creation of Aikido Jinsei Dojo is to perpetuate the Japanese martial art of Aikido safely and productively within a traditional atmosphere. Students who train at Aikido Jinsei Dojo will develop a heightened sense of awareness of their own bodies and the spatial relationships between themselves and their opponents as well as their physical surroundings. Students will forge their bodies through conscientious practice promoting improved health and wellbeing. Finally, students will develop the ability to remain calm and centered amidst the chaos of life’s daily conflicts and distractions.
